Outdoor First Aid - Cumbria

A two day course designed to be interactive and flexible. It is suitable for those working in or taking part in leisure activities in remote locations. Training and scenarios are based on being more than several minutes up to several hours from help until the rescue team arrives. This course will be adapted for individual requirements, for example forestry workers, hill walkers and canoeists will all have different care needs. The first day covers the core First Aid issues and the second day builds upon these. This qualification covers the needs of the outdoor national governing bodies for their Instructor awards. Suitable for, ML, SPA, BCU, RYA, BOF, MIA, MIC etc. The qualification is valid for three years.

"Having attending what feels like every conceivable first aid course on the market, Active-Aid has been the first that has moved me to write in recognition of a very well thought out course, engaging from word go. Pete has obviously worked hard to put together a complete package that engages and stimulates the learner to ensure that learning is retained, backed up with excellent resources, top class grub and lots of craic. I'd be happy to recommend Active-Aid above any other provider I've experienced for a first aid programme."
